COPA Flight 45 Meeting with Warden Jamie Heffner

On May 14th the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) Flight 45 held its monthly potluck dinner and meeting to discuss the Goderich airport. COPA is working hard to restore the vibrant sense of community that once defined Goderich Airport. The new appointed Warden, Jamie Heffer, joined the meeting as a guest speaker. Heffer shared his thoughts on the importance of the airport and acknowledges the challenges it faces as local support declines.

Gateway CERH was proud to attend the event in support of COPA and the Goderich airport. Summer research assistants Erica Maloney and Julie Wein and Business Development Officer Kate Maloney represented Gateway to take part in the community present at the airport. COPA is planning a series of community focused events, with a special emphasis on involving youth. Gateway CERH is excited to support these efforts through the Discovery Healthcare Camp run July 7-11th
