Gateway CERH is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative Operations Manager to provide one-year maternity leave coverage. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization while supporting the successful delivery of research projects, community initiatives, events, and organizational priorities.
The Operations Manager serves as the central point of coordination for the organization, working closely with the President, Board of Directors, Research Chairs, staff, volunteers, students, community partners, and funders. The ideal candidate is someone who anticipates needs, solves problems independently, thrives in a dynamic environment, and enjoys balancing administrative leadership with relationship building.

Research Assistant
The Research Assistant will support Gateway CERH’s rural health research initiatives through data collection, analysis, and reporting. We're seeking a detail-oriented individual with a background in health or social sciences and an interest in rural healthcare.

Ideal candidates have experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research, can prepare reports for stakeholders, and have strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships within rural communities. They should be organized, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team setting.

Project Manager
Gateway CERH is seeking a collaborative, organized, and motivated Project Manager to oversee research initiatives, coordinate project teams, and support the successful delivery of community and healthcare projects across rural Ontario.
The Project Manager serves as a key liaison between Research Chairs, educational institutions, healthcare partners, funders, community organizations, and internal staff. This role provides leadership to Research Assistants, students, volunteers, and project teams while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with organizational priorities.​

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and relationship builder who enjoys managing multiple priorities, supporting team members, and translating ideas into action.
