Upcoming Spring Mental Health First Aid Training

Warmer weather, greener pastures and great training are coming this spring! The Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health announces upcoming dates for Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training for the Spring of 2024. Attend on May 16th at the Kingsbridge Centre or June 13th in Grand Bend, ON, to gain essential skills. 

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is the support provided to a person who may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being, a mental health crisis, or substance misuse. MHFA is the immediate support provided to an individual until appropriate treatment is found or the crisis is resolved.
