Last Call for Aging in Place – Huron Community Survey

Older adults and a young woman gather around a laptop studying a phone at Tech Support

Are you part of the 81% of Canadians that want to remain in their homes as they age (National Institute on Ageing, 2025)? By filling out Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health’s (Gateway CERH) survey, you can let us know what's needed to make this possible for people in Huron County.

This survey explores what it’s like to age in Huron County. What has been helpful? Where are the gaps? What could make things easier? Whether your experience has been positive, challenging, or somewhere in between, we want to hear from you. Your feedback will help us build a clearer picture of what aging looks like in our community.

The best community programs are shaped by the people they’re meant for. Join more than 300 Huron County residents who have completed the survey and help us make sure our future programs are based on what people in our community actually need. The survey is open until September 2, 2026, and we would love to hear from you before it closes.

This survey is voluntary and your responses will be used to guide future Gateway CERH projects, and we hope that this information can be used to help other community organizations and municipalities find opportunities to respond within their own capacities.

If you have any questions, contact Gateway CERH at (519) 612-1053 or visit www.gatewayruralhealth.ca.

If you have already completed the survey, thank you. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience!
