Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health Announces New Executive Committee Following the Annual General Meeting

On Friday, May 29, 2026, Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health (CERH) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) with its Board of Directors in attendance.
During the meeting, the Board reflected on Gateway CERH’s accomplishments over the past year, reviewed key initiatives supporting rural health and well-being, and elected a new Executive Committee for the coming year.
Gateway CERH is pleased to announce the following members of its Executive Committee:
President: Gwen Devereaux
Vice President: Mary Lapaine
Chair: Wayne Caldwell
Vice Chair: Dan Stringer
Treasurer: Rowland Howe
Secretary: Pat Redshaw
The Executive Committee will work closely with the Board of Directors and staff to advance Gateway CERH's mission of improving the health and well-being of our local rural communities through research, education, and communication.
The AGM also provided an opportunity to recognize the contributions of the previous Executive Committee members and Board members whose leadership and commitment have helped advance Gateway CERH's strategic priorities and community impact.
As Gateway CERH looks ahead, the organization remains focused and committed to our local communities, supporting innovative programs, creating meaningful partnerships, and responding to the unique needs of our rural residents.
