Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health (CERH) and the Goderich Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 are excited to invite seniors to drop in June 3rd, 2026 between 9AM-12PM for another year of “Senior Summer Camp” featuring one-on-one tech help and a free BBQ lunch.
From 9-10AM Randy Carroll, Goderich Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 President, will kick off the event with a presentation celebrating 100 years of the Royal Canadian Legion. Then from 10-11AM seniors can receive one-on-one tech support to learn how to detect scams, online shop, send crafts/recipes, and troubleshoot their devices. As technology becomes a bigger part of everyday life, this event offers a welcoming, judgement free zone to learn new skills and stay connected.
Afterwards, enjoy a free BBQ lunch and connect with other community members. This is a great opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and build confidence using technology. For more information about the project visit Gateway CERH Legion Learning Lounge or call at (519) 612 1053.
