Kathryn Schulich Current position, Current projects Kathryn recently completed her Master of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University and within the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is currently completing her PhD in Epidemiology and Biostatistics also at Western University. Her MSc thesis was under the supervision of Dr. Moira Stewart at the Centre for Studies in Family Medicine, in which she utilized an electronic medical record database of more than 550,000 primary care encounters from primary care practices throughout Southwestern Ontario. She assessed the health care use patterns of patients who had presented to their family physician with the symptom of fatigue. Her PhD work will focus on understanding the complexity and management of patients suffering from multimorbidity in primary care. Kathryn is planning to continue her research in the areas of primary care and family medicine, and hopes to combine her research work with clinical practice.
