Dianne Donaldson, M.Sc. Food Science
Current position, Product Development
Dianne was born and raised on a farm outside of London, Ontario. She attended the University of Guelph where she first developed an interest in food production and in particular the natural food industry. After completing her undergrad, Dianne joined Everspring Farms Ltd, her family’s business based in Ilderton and Seaforth Ontario. At the time, Everspring was just starting a new division to supply innovative food ingredients to the growing natural food industry and Dianne took on the role of Product Development Manager responsible for all research and development of new products as well as sales and customer communication.
Through her research with Everspring, she had the opportunity to complete her M.Sc. in Food Science at the University of Guelph specializing in the functionality of bread baked with germinated wheat, one of Everspring’s key products. Dianne continues her product development role with Everspring and looks forward to collaborating with Gateway in developing healthy food solutions for Huron County and abroad.
